Kể từ khi tool PanG9 jailbreak được phát hành vào cuối tuần, Apple đã biết về các lỗ hổng trước và vá chúng trong phiên bản beta 4 hoặc phiên bản beta 5 của iOS 9.1 vì vậy các fan Jailbreakers nên tránh xa iOS 9.1.
Apple vẫn còn ký nhận firmware iOS 9.0.2 nên bạn có thể vẫn hạ cấp/nâng cấp để 9.0.2 và jailbreak iPhone, iPad hoặc iPod touch của bạn sử dụng tool PanGu9 nếu bạn muốn. Apple có thể ngừng ký nhận iOS9.0.2 bất cứ lúc nào, sau đó bạn sẽ không thể nâng cấp hoặc hạ cấp iOS 9.0.2 được nữa.
